Pssst Got A Spare 15 Quid

Well if you have you can own ONE of these.

Yes that's right spend fifteen pounds sterling on a well known angling web site and you will get ONE of these free. Why ?Is it me ? But surly you do not need to tempt people to spend money, by offering them a pebble ?It may just be me who views these things with much mirth ? Or am I just borderline backward ?

I mean who thinks along these lines........"Wow a pebble,a real life stonze. What can I wank away 15 quid on to own such a smooth and well rounded pebble".

Sorry but this has really made me smile.I'm sure the marketing boys at Satchii & Satchii can sleep easy knowing they will live to fight another day.But for those chaps who do want to spend 15 quid.Purchase a few as they are good, but like the old advert.

Think before you drink, before you buy.

Monty D

PS Low pressure system on route so I'll be out Barbel fishing after work tomorrow.

  4. Charles,

You again ? Chuckle and all that. But it would not be "Smithers",it would more likely be "Moshi" mate ;-)

  5. What a wheeze, always amused me "Stonze". For 15 notes you can buy a bag of pebbles (B&Q) some masonary drills, araldites and 50 swivels, not that I'm taking the piss or anything....OK I am.

For anyone who's really bought one: 15 QUID FOR A PEBBLE. ARE YOU STUPID?

Apparently you can buy plastic bread flake as well. I did see a controller float shaped like a leaf once, it's only a matter of time before they put a swivel in the end of a stick and call it the the "Fox Floater Stick Carp Tricker"...

If you send me £15, I'll send you one of the new JAA Environmenally Friendly Apple Wood Contoller floats. 2 for £25. £5 extra for swivels stuck in the end.

    OK bit of a rant.

  14. Michael, you missed out the part where if you shell out £15 and join the BS you get the chance to take part in the yearly R/C auction and pay for a ticket to oz for one member.
Given the choice JAA I would opt for the pebble every time “a pebble is for life” the BS is not for long but old Steve still has his head in the sand or up his arse or is he still hiding in the sheep shagging shed in Shropshire?
